Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 7th February

Psalm 107:2 says: "Let the Redeemed of the Lord tell their story..."  Those who have had their lives touched and changed by God are to give glory to Him by proclaiming His love and His saving power and acknowledging what He has done. We have experienced God's love in many amazing ways in our lives, but the greatest of all is that He has saved us from our sin and we are changed for ever. Let's rejoice in the grace of God and in our Saviour Jesus Christ today, thanking Him for who He is and what He has done in our lives as we sing our praises.

God is great

Praise is rising

Luke 13:10-17Pastor Steve
00:00 / 01:43

Lord Jesus, when we think of the sacrifice You made for us, we are so aware that is was because of our sin. Our sin caused the problem, our sin caused You to lay down Your life for us. Thankyou that because of Your love and intervention we are forgiven and free. You have truly given us grace and mercy we don't deserve. We come with thankful hearts to worship You in Spirit and Truth.

I cast my mind to Calvary

Thank You for the cross

What a beautiful name

Prayer : Father, thankyou that the Bible says Your Word is strong and powerful and cannot be imprisoned - when it is spoken with authority, chains are broken and mountains move!  Thankyou for the power of Your Word to save, to heal, to set people free and to set our hearts ablaze with Your love. Holy Spirit, Come! Challenge our hearts and strengthen our spirits this morning in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
