Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 6th September
Proverbs 18 v 10 tells us that the name of the Lord is a strong tower and Acts 4 v 12 says of Jesus: 'There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.'
In Jesus we can have salvation, forgiveness, eternal life, freedom, peace and hope when we call upon His name and put our trust in Him.
We are going to celebrate Jesus this morning, and worship Him for who He is and what He has done for us. Whether we are at church or at home, we share the joy of knowing Jesus, the assurance that we belong to Him and just as we are united with God, we are also united together. We have one Faith, one Hope, one Lord and we share the same Spirit. So as we come together, let's be aware of His presence with us. Lord Jesus - we worship You and bless Your holy name - You deserve all the honour, all the glory and all the praise that we can give.

Blessing and Honour
led by Pastor Steve.
Let us also pray for those we know of personally who are in need at this time.
Our Bible Reading is taken from Mark 5 v 25 - 34
and is read by Pastor Steve.
James 4 v 8 says "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." Father, we come right into Your throne-room through the precious blood of Jesus and we draw near to You now in worship. Jesus, we give ourselves to You as we bow down and honour You as the King of Kings and affirm Your Lordship over our lives. We declare our love for You, our Saviour, Redeemer and coming King - You alone are God.
Lord I come to You
Draw me close to You
Prayer: Lord, we come to hear Your word to us this morning. As we open ourselves up to You, we ask that You minister deeply into our lives and circumstances by Your Holy Spirit. We pray our hearts will be receptive, that we will truly hear YOU speaking to us and that Your word will impact our lives, deepen our relationship with You and help set the course for the future we have in the purposes of God. Amen.
