Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 5th July

The Bible tells us about the majesty and greatness of our God - we see attempts to describe Him as the One who measures the waters in the hollow of His hand, the One who marches on the waves of the sea - the One who hangs the earth on nothing and flings the stars in space.

We are told that all creation bows to Him - He holds all things in His hands. It's utterly amazing that this Holy God, the Lord of Heaven and Earth loves us, wants to save us and set us free from our sins so that we can become His children and part of His family. That's why Jesus came!

Let's praise our amazing God!

Matthew 11 v 28 - 30Hawa
00:00 / 00:37

Father God, Thankyou for sending Your only Son to pay the price for OUR sin. Thankyou that our sin-debt has been totally paid by Jesus and we have been truly set free. We come to give You all the glory and all the honour and to lay our lives down before You in worship this morning for Your gift of eternal life - something that WE could never earn. We are so grateful for Your love.

I Give You all the honour

Prayer: Lord, we pray that Your Holy Spirit will move amongst us as we listen to Your Word. You know our hearts and where we stand before You right now and where You want us to be. Please speak to us through Your Word and draw us closer. We wait in expectation to be touched and changed by the power of Your Spirit. Amen.

 Withholding Nothing

Benediction and Blessing

Like many Christians we long to reopen our premises and get back to holding regular worship services. However, at present our services will remain online.

We are looking at active and sensible ways to re-open when we are confident that all stringent precautions can and have been taken to keep KBC a Covid-19 safe place for us all to worship together.

For now let us continue to encourage one another, even as we are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and look forward to reopening our services later in the year.
