Call to Worship
Welcome to Virtual Church
Sunday 3rd May
Kenton Baptist Church

While we are unable to meet together physically, we hope you will be encouraged to draw close to God through the message, readings and songs on this page and to join us in worshipping our God.
God is in control.
The Bible tells us that God is all-knowing and all powerful: His wisdom is profound and His power is vast. We are told that the earth is His footstool and the heavens are His throne.
He holds the waters in the hollow of His hand and all creation bows to Him. He is the One who holds all things together and He is the One who holds us!
He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear - we are secure!

The songs in the videos below declare that God is constant and unchanging. When we trust in Him we can have peace despite our circumstances - He will always be with us and never give up on us. Our hope is steadfast and sure because HE is! Even when we don't feel it or see it, He is still working and we have the promise that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8v28)
God is totally dependable and HE is holding US!
Today we come to bring our praise and worship to God who saves us and keeps us.

Our Bible Reading is taken from Luke 12
v 22-32 and is
read by Esta.
Lord Jesus, You are more than worthy of all our praise. We come before You now to worship You, our Saviour and our Lord. You are the Alpha and Omega - the First and the Last - the One who is, who was and is to come - the Almighty. We bow before You. Lord, receive our adoration.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that You speak to us through Your Word. May Your Holy Spirit work in our hearts as we listen and may the truth of what You are saying penetrate our lives and help us to grow in You. Amen.
