Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 31st January
We are reminded in Psalm 121 that when we lift our eyes to Him, our help comes from the LORD - the maker of heaven and earth. He is the one who sees all things and is in control of all things: the One who has shown time and time again through history and in our lives that His promise never to leave us or forsake us holds firm - so when we focus our attention on Him, things are put into the right perspective and we can move forward in faith.
Zephaniah 3.17 says "For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty Saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (NLT)
Let's bring our focus onto God this morning. He is with us and the joy of the Lord is our strength, so let's lift up the name of Jesus, rejoice that He is still mighty to save and give Him all the glory: He is the Alpha and Omega, the Lord of all in whom all things are possible!

and is read by James.
Lord Jesus, as we continue in Your presence this morning, we come to give our lives to You afresh and to acknowledge Your majesty and Your greatness, Your goodness and Your love. Holy Spirit, help us to engage in a deeper way so that we come right into the throne-room of God by the precious blood of Jesus. Thankyou that we have received Your mercy and forgiveness and that we stand forgiven and set free - thankyou for the song of worship that You have put within each one of us because of Your great love! We are forever grateful.
I stand amazed
Amazing grace
So will I
Prayer : Father, thankyou for the revelation You give to us through Your Word about who You are, how You love and care for us and how You are for us and not against us. Please speak through Your Word to strengthen our hearts and cause us to move forward in faith today. Amen.
