Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 30th May

The Bible tells us that the kind of worshippers God seeks are those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth. (John 4: 23-24) So today let's cast aside everything else that is crowding our minds and focus totally on God, His greatness and His goodness. The Bible tells us that from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised, and that He is exalted over all. This is our God - the One who comes to seek and save the lost from every tongue, tribe and nation  - the One true God - the One who comes to call us out of darkness and into light.

So Lord, we look to You - May we come into the glory of Your presence this morning as we set this time aside and dedicate it to You. We ask for a mighty anointing of Your Holy Spirit so that we will become more conscious of You than we have ever been and truly know that You are God. We lift up Your name to declare Your greatness, Your love and Your faithfulness - Every praise is to our God!

Father, as we continue in worship, thank You that we can come right into your presence, cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus. We are hungry to know You more. We come before You now to give You more of ourselves, to surrender to You and to affirm Your Lordship over our lives.

We come to worship the name of Jesus - the name above all names - the One who is worthy of all honour, all glory, all power and all praise. Lord, fill us with Your Spirit and hear the cry of our hearts to know You more. Amen

Thank You Lord that You speak through Your Word to teach, encourage, correct us and build us up - You know where we stand before You right now - nothing is hidden from You! Speak to us through Your Word, draw us closer today and may each one of us have a fresh encounter with You. We wait in expectation to be touched and changed by the power of Your Spirit. Amen.
