Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 27th June
Today we come to praise God for His faithfulness - the Bible tells us that He will never leave us or forsake us, but that He goes before us and will guide us and protect us in every circumstance and situation. Much has changed in our world over the last 18 months, but God remains the same - always working His purposes out. The Bible tells us He is building His Church and that nothing will be able to stand in His way - not persecution, disasters, pandemics or spiritual forces. He is building and equipping a people who will stand firm in their faith, declare His truth and bring glory to His name. This is our God - the One who is ultimately in control and the One who holds all things together - the One who has saved us, loved us and blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others. Let's praise Him for His faithfulness, love and mercy.

Intercessory Prayers
led by Robin. Let us also pray for those we know of personally who are in need at this time.
Our Bible Reading is taken from Nehemiah 1:1-11 & 2:1-8
ESV and is read by Beverly.
Heavenly Father, thankyou for Your great love. Thankyou that when we trust in Jesus we receive Your mercy and grace and our lives are changed - You begin a spiritual work in us that You have promised to complete. Thankyou that we become an expression of Your love to others because the desire of our hearts is now to please You. Father, as we declare Your goodness we also humble ourselves before You and ask that You will fulfil Your purposes in us. Amen.

O Church Arise
Lord, Thankyou that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path - it teaches us how to live and shows us the way. Thankyou that we can be guided and challenged by Your Word. Help us to be open to Your Holy Spirit as we listen and may our hearts be responsive to you.
