Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 26th September

Thank-you for joining us - Please note that Virtual Church ends this week, but Virtual Church Services from the past year will remain available in our Virtual Church Archive.

We will be  live-steaming our services on the 3rd October and 7th November on our Facebook page. Please see details on our homepage.

Psalm 46.1-2 says that "God is our refuge and strength - a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.
"

The Bible tells us that God is with us - He will never leave us or forsake us and we are told to cast all our anxieties onto Him because He cares for us.

Knowing how good, faithful and loving God is enables us to have confidence in Him in the hard times of our lives. Coming close to God in trust and worship in times of trouble means that our faith  in Him is active. Do we remember the truth we have read about Him and the miracles He has done? Do we remember the works He has done in our lives and the lives of others?

Our God is the same today as yesterday - He never runs out of power and is totally dependable.

Our praise songs today highlight the fact that though there may be challenging times in our lives, God is right there with us, strengthening us and helping us through. He can bring us peace even when our circumstances are in turmoil and we can praise Him through the storm.

Acts 27.13-44Peter
00:00 / 05:30

Father God, as we come to You now in adoration and worship through the precious blood of Jesus, thankyou that we can know our sins have been forgiven and that You have rescued us.

Lord Jesus, may Your Holy Spirit fill as we connect with You this morning! No-one compares to You, Lord - no-one is greater, higher or more worthy of our worship. We come to honour You, the Name above all names, to kneel once again at the foot of the cross and declare Your Lordship over our lives, giving thanks for You love and mercy.

Who is there like You?

If Faith Can Move The Mountains

Faithful One

Father, thankyou for Your Word that feeds our spirits. May our hearts be receptive to what You have to say to us today.

Breathe life into us by the power of Your Holy Spirit and my we grow as 'faith people' who love You with all of our hearts and who stand on the truth of Your Word. Amen.
