Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 25th October
Psalm 46 v 1 says 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.'
This psalm goes on to say that God is with us, He is our help and that we need to be still so that we truly realise that He is God, that He is in control and that He will be exalted no matter what appears to be going on.
So Lord, we look to You. May we come into the glory of Your presence this morning as we set this time aside and dedicate it You. We ask for a mighty anointing of Your Spirit so that we will become more conscious of You than we have even been, and truly know that You are God. We lift up Your name to declare Your victory, Your love and Your faithfulness knowing that we are held in Your hands and that You are with us.

Intercessory Prayers
led by Robin.
Let us also pray for those we know of personally who are in need at this time.

Our Bible Readings are taken from Deuteronomy 31 v 1 - 8
& Joshua 1 v 1 - 9
and are read by Beverly
Father God, we come into Your presence through the precious blood of Jesus to worship You in Spirit and Truth - to thank You for who You are and what You have done.
We thank You that we belong to You and we are convinced that nothing can ever separate us from Your love that has been revealed to us through Jesus.
Lord Jesus, You are the Alpha and Omega, the First and Last, the Beginning and the End.
We worship You now knowing that in every circumstance of life, You are with us by Your Spirit.
We worship You as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Prayer: Lord, we want to know You more and live for your glory. We receive by faith what you have to say to us. Stir us and may Your Word penetrate and break through every area of doubt and unbelief so that we will rise in faith with thanksgiving in our hearts. Holy Spirit, speak to us, instruct us and help us to become more like Jesus. Amen.
