Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 25th July 2021
St Paul, writer of some of the letters in the New Testament, gladly endured imprisonment and hardship on a major scale because he knew that the Gospel is God's salvation plan for all mankind and how important it was to spread that message of hope to a sinful world. The truth remains that sin affects us all and creates a barrier between us and God ... a barrier that can only be removed by the precious love and blood of Jesus when we call on His name... the Bible says there is no other way.
Our God wants to see these barriers broken down so that we can fully experience His love and saving power. Once we fully trust in Jesus, we are forgiven, born again, set free and nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8:38-9) Our God is greater and stronger that anything that can come against us, so let's praise Him today - He breaks the power of sin and darkness over our lives...This is amazing grace!

Intercessory Prayers
led by Pastor Steve.
Let us also pray for those we know of personally who are in need at this time.
Our Bible reading is from 2 Corinthians 4: 1-6 (ESV)
and is read by Jean.
Thankyou Father that we can come before You to worship in Spirit and Truth because You gave Your Son as a sacrifice to make us right with You.
Thankyou Jesus that we can know Your grace, mercy and love in our lives because YOU have bought us our forgiveness. Thankyou for the price You paid. We are convinced that 'neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.' (Romans 8:38-9) Lord, we worship You now with grateful hearts for who You are and all that You have done.

Here I Am To Worship / The Call
Father, thankyou that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. Thankyou that the Bible says Your Word is strong and powerful and cannot be imprisoned. When it is spoken with authority, barriers are broken, and mountains move. Thankyou for the power of Your Word to save. to heal, to set people free and to set our hearts ablaze with Your love. Holy Spirit, come! Challenge our hearts and strengthen us this morning in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
