Welcome to Virtual Church

Sunday 22nd November

Kenton Baptist Church

Psalm 96 tells us to sing to the Lord and bless His name! We may not be able to do this in our church buildings at the moment, but we can do this in our homes. We are told to declare His salvation and His glory because He is great and to be feared among all gods. We are directed to give Him the glory that is due to His name and worship Him in the splendour of holiness.

Let this be our aim this morning: to worship God with all we have and all we are, to lift up the name of Jesus and to glorify Him not just with our lips, but with hearts and our lives. Holy Spirit, let Your anointing fall on us as we join together in praise and adoration - Lord Jesus, capture our vision once again and take Your rightful place as Lord in our lives.

Intercessory Prayers led by Eddy and Chris.

Let us also pray for those we know of personally who are in need at this time.

Father God, today we come with grateful hearts to worship You and to acknowledge Your greatness and Your amazing love for us. When we realise what You have done and how loving and faithful You are, it just blows us away.

We stand in awe of a holy God who continually blesses us - not because of anything we have done, but because He loves us. We bow down in worship this morning to honour You, Father God, to bless You and say 'Thank You' for loving us.

Prayer: Father as we continue in Your presence, we pray that our hearts will be receptive to Your Word to us. Lord, your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path - teach us Your ways, show us Your paths, and guide us in Your truth - so that we will truly live for the glory of Your name.

Holy Spirit come and do a work in us today that will grow and bear fruit in our lives so that we become more like Jesus - we surrender to You. Amen.
