Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 21st March

The Bible tells us that God "is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins." (Ephesians 1.7 NLT)  This freedom is not something that we can earn, it is offered to us freely so that we can KNOW the forgiveness of God in our lives. It is up to us to receive God's gift.

We come today to thank God for His great love and His amazing salvation plan for us all.

Psalm 103 tells us that God's love for us is as high as the heavens, that He is compassionate and that He removes our sins "as far as the east is from the west."

How good it is to be loved by God and to KNOW His favour on our lives. We come to thank Him for His grace and mercy and to remind ourselves of all that He has done.  Have you received God's mercy and the forgiveness that trusting in Jesus brings?

Have you been to Jesus?

Father, we thank You that we can come right into Your presence now through the precious Blood of Jesus, acknowledging Your great love for us and giving You thanks.

This is real love - not that we first loved God, but that God loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins and bring us forgiveness. (1 John 4.10)

Father, we come to bow down before You with thankful hearts, and to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus over our lives. Holy Spirit come and touch our hearts as we engage in worship today. Amen.

O the Blood

Thankyou, Jesus for the Blood

Prayer : Father, thank you for Your Word to us. Thankyou that the Blood of Jesus will never lose its power to save us, change our lives and bring healing and forgiveness. May Your Holy Spirit increase our understanding of Your amazing love for us and may our relationship with You deepen as we listen to what You have to say to us. Amen.
