Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 1st August 2021

Psalm 107:2 says: "Let the Redeemed of the Lord tell their story..."

When we experience the reality of God in our lives, the Bible says we are to give Him glory by proclaiming His love and His power by acknowledging what He has done... and sometimes that includes the reality of us knowing He is there even in the midst of hard times and struggles, as well as praising Him for the good times.

We all have different experiences in life - some good times and some really tough situations - but the one thing we can be sure of is that God is with us- He is ever present and He has said He will never leave us or forsake us. He holds us in the palm of His hand: He is there as our Saviour - our strength and our fortress, our anchor and our hope and we can be sure that He knows exactly what is happening and will give us the strength we need day by day to walk in the victory He has won for us.

Let's come joyfully before God today, knowing that He has all things in control and give Him all the glory, thanking Him for who He is and for what He has done and can do in our lives.

Father God, thank You that we can come into Your presence through the precious blood of Jesus knowing that we will find grace and mercy. We come to bow down before You in worship and to honour You with our lives. We come to lay ourselves before You today and ask for You to move by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We want more of You, Lord, so we must give You more of ourselves. Come and have Your way in us - set us apart for You and breathe Your life into us once more. Amen.

Lord, please minister to us now in Your love and grace, right into the inner depths of our beings as we listen to Your words of life. Let us grow in the realisation of who You are and where we stand in Your purposes so that our lives may truly glorify You. May Your word strengthen us and cause us to walk forward in faith today. Amen
