Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 17th January

Psalm 37:5 says "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act,"

and this is backed up by everything we read in the Word of God. The Bible shows us God's character - His holiness, His greatness, His power, His love, His justice, His wisdom, His faithfulness, His reliability, His goodness, His truth and so much more!

Today we come again to give Him thanks and to declare His praise. When God takes us into His family and we become His children, He promises to be with us always and says that He will never leave us or forsake us. We are told we can trust Him in all circumstances: trust Him to save us, hold us, protect us, keep us on the right path, provide for us, bless us and use us in His plans to bless others. Every praise is to our Lord God - the Creator of Heaven and Earth!

Father, we come right into Your presence now through the precious blood of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the one true, holy God and that all heaven and earth belongs to You. Jesus, we come to worship and adore You, and to declare that You are more than worthy of all our praise. You are the Alpha and Omega- the First and the Last - the One who is, who was and who is to come - the Almighty! Holy Spirit come and touch our hearts as we engage in worship today.
