Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 16th May

Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people - He is enthroned on them! Today there will be a joyful noise right across the world as people declare God's goodness and lift up the name of Jesus our Saviour, Healer, Redeemer and Coming King.

We thank God for His promise of eternal life through Jesus and a place in heaven with brothers and sisters from every nation, tribe and tongue who have put their trust in Him. This is God's grace and favour - His gift to us that is something we cannot earn, but is so freely given.

We rejoice that one day Jesus will return in glory when every eye will see Him. What an amazing day that will be - and we are nearer that day now than we have ever been! Let's praise the God of our salvation and rejoice in His love for us today.

Acts 1.1-11John

James 4:8 says "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."  Father, we come right into Your throne-room through the precious blood of Jesus and we draw near to You now in worship. Jesus, we give ourselves to You as we bow down and honour You as King of Kings and affirm Your Lordship over our lives. We declare our love for You, our Saviour, Healer, Redeemer and Coming King - You alone are God.

Thankyou, Jesus for the blood
