Welcome to Virtual Church
Kenton Baptist Church
Sunday 14th March
God loves you!
God loves us all equally - nothing we do causes Him to love us any more or any less. It's how we respond to His love that can change our lives and bring us peace.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) All we have to do is believe this truth and trust in Jesus to forgive our sins, cleanse us and give us a new start.
The songs in our worship section today speak of God's love and faithfulness towards us and our praise songs remind us that in an uncertain world, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever - He never changes! He is constant and dependable - our rock in times of trouble, our anchor in the storm and our firm foundation. Psalm 36 tells us that His love reaches to the heavens and His faithfulness to the skies. So let's give God all the glory due to His name and lift our hands to praise the King of Kings.

Our Bible Reading is taken from 1 Kings 3:16-28 ESV
and is read by Pastor Steve
Thankyou Father that we can come right into Your throne room to worship You in Spirit and Truth because You gave Your Son as a sacrifice to make us right with You..
Thankyou Jesus, that we can know Your grace, mercy and love in our lives because YOU have bought us our forgiveness. Thankyou for the price You paid. We are convinced that 'neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 8:38-9)
Lord, we continue to draw close to You now. Let us hold nothing back as we worship the One who gave all for us.

Prayer: Lord, we come eagerly to hear Your word to us this morning. As we open ourselves up to You, we ask that You minister deeply into our lives and circumstances by Your Holy Spirit. We pray that our hearts will be receptive, that we will truly hear YOU speaking to us and that Your word will impact our lives, deepen our relationship with You and help set the course for the future we have in the purposes of God. Amen.
