Welcome to Virtual Church

Kenton Baptist Church

Sunday 28th June

The Bible tells us that the kind of worshippers God seeks are those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth. (John 4 v 23-24) Today in our call to worship we are encouraged to 'make a joyful noise', but whether noisy or quiet, the important thing is that we connect and respond to Him....to KNOW that the LORD,  He is God. (Psalm 100 v 3)

We are told that from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised and that He is exalted over all. (Psalm 113) So let's affirm our faith in Him, lift up His name and proclaim His goodness, His love and His faithfulness.

Every praise is to our God!

 This I believe

Every Praise is to our God

 This is Amazing Grace

Prayer: Thankyou, Lord that You know us better than we know ourselves. Thankyou that You speak through Your Word to teach, encourage, correct us and build us up. May what we hear today fall on good ground and bear fruit in our lives so that we will grow to be more like You and bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Pastor Steve's Message.

2 Kings 5 v 20-27

Father God, we come into Your presence through the precious blood of Jesus to worship You in Spirit and Truth - to thank You for who You are and what You have done. Lord Jesus, You are the Alpha and Omega, the First and Last, the Beginning and the End. All the glory belongs to You.

Benediction and Blessing

Like many Christians we long to reopen our premises and get back to holding regular worship services. However, at present our services will remain online,

(so we will not be re-opening the building on 5th July).

We are looking at active and sensible ways to re-open when we are confident that all stringent precautions can and have been taken to keep KBC a Covid-19 safe place for us all to worship together.

For now let us continue to encourage one another, even as we are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and look forward to reopening our services later in the year.
