Due to Government Covid restrictions, we have suspended Sunday services in the church building for the time being. As a result, there will be no live stream on Facebook at the moment, but Virtual Church will continue as usual. Please check back for future updates.
Welcome to Kenton Baptist Church!
KBC is a safe place to explore your faith and discover God’s love. We are a group of Bible believing Christians who meet together to worship God and serve our community. Jesus Christ has shown us how much God loves us -
Our desire is to know God more and to help everyone discover how amazing He is!
A lot in our world may have changed recently, but God is ultimately in control...we may not all be meeting in our church buildings, but we are united in the Spirit.
United in our hunger for more of God and in our desire to see God move mightily in our land. United to praise the name of JESUS, the name above all names!
United in our desire to be built into a people who bring glory to His name.
If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed!
At a time when many of us may feel our freedom is being limited or taken away, and we can't see friends and family or move around as much as we would like, it is easy to get discouraged.
We can still find encouragement in that the Bible tells us of a different sort of freedom - a freedom that we all need!
The freedom that God offers us through Jesus is that of having a clear conscience before God, to know that our sins have been forgiven and that we have received the gift of eternal life.
This comes when we ask Jesus to be our Saviour and trust Him to deal with our sin. He brings us into this freedom which can't be touched, stolen or taken away by others. Although it cost Jesus everything, it is not something we can ever earn through good works - it is given to us freely.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
