Our services are on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. and we have relaxed Covid precautions in place.

Welcome to Kenton Baptist Church!
KBC is a safe place to explore your faith and discover God’s love. We are a group of Bible believing Christians who meet together to worship God and serve our community. Jesus Christ has shown us how much God loves us -

Our desire is to know God more and to help everyone discover how amazing He is!

When we truly acknowledge that God is ultimately in control, this can bring us into a freedom that we have never known before. He knows us, He understands us and wants what is best for us. His love never fails.

Jesus is the One who chose to give His Life to show us God's love, and He is still the only One who can bring us into God's family and free us from our sins when we put our trust in Him.

At KBC we proclaim Jesus as Saviour, Healer, Redeemer, Lord and Coming King.

God's plans for us are centred in Jesus.

The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and that our sins separate us from God, so that we cannot enjoy a relationship with Him here, or in eternity.
God sent His Son Jesus to die for us, taking our sins upon Himself, so that we can be free.

"If the Son sets you free, you are truly free" John 8.36 The Bible (NLT)

The freedom that God offers us through Jesus is that of having a clear conscience before God, knowing that our sins have been forgiven and that we have received the gift of eternal life.

This comes when we ask Jesus to be our Saviour and trust Him to deal with our sin. He brings us into this freedom which cannot be taken away by others. Although it cost Jesus everything, it is not something we can ever earn through good works -
it is given freely.
