KBC Easter Sunday Celebration 17th April 10.30am
Welcome to Kenton Baptist Church!
KBC is a safe place to explore your faith and discover God’s love. We are a group of Bible believing Christians who meet together to worship God and serve our community. Jesus Christ has shown us how much God loves us -
Our desire is to know God more and to help everyone discover how amazing He is!
When we acknowledge that God is ultimately in control, this can bring us into a freedom that we have never known before. He knows us, He understands us and wants what is best for us.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD - "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29 v 11 The Bible
The Bible says:
"This is real love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4.10
The true meaning of Easter is that even though we don't deserve it and can't earn it, God offers us forgiveness and new life when we trust in Jesus.
We all do things that hurt God and separate us from Him, but the Good News is that Jesus' life, death and resurrection can restore that relationship.
Trusting in Jesus brings us back into the right relationship with God so that we have hope, peace, forgiveness and freedom.
God has done everything HE can do by sending Jesus and now it is up to US to make the most important decision of our lives. All we need to do is call on Him.
