At Kenton Baptist we are committed to 5 key purposes which we believe God has given us as a church:

We set out to be worshippers in all areas of our lives as we Magnify God

We aim to help people to belong to the family of God in the commitment of Membership

We commit ourselves to grow as disciples of Jesus into Maturity

We actively look for ways to serve one another and the world in Ministry, relying on the Holy Spirit

We believe God wants to bring others to faith as we engage in Mission in a variety of ways

We have accepted the challenge to embed these purposes into all areas of church life as well as our lives as individuals, recognising that this is a journey and we are all at different stages. But as we grow together and encourage one another, and open our lives to the power of God's Spirit, we believe that these Five Purposes - the "Five Ms" - will shape us into the sort of Church that Jesus wants us to be for a needy world.
